So glad to hear about Gulch’s arrival to Old Friends.
Happy New Year to everyone there and lots of hugs for the horses.

    Hey Val–

My daughters and I visited you and the horses last March (don’t know if you remember the girl with the capris on on a very windy spring day!) and I wanted to tell you that I read your blog every Sunday. I makes my heart sing to hear how the horses are doing and it thrills me to no end when one is rescued.
We hope to visit again in the spring, we love all of you, horses and humans! 🙂

Oh, I remember the capris and the wind! Brrr! Glad to hear from you and hope to see you all again in the springtime. Maybe wearing long pants….

Wonderful to hear that Gulch is coming to Old Friends. I can tell you that I nicknamed him “Little Mud Pig” when he first went to Lane’s End. Every time I visited, Gulch was totally covered in mud. He’s going to be SO very happy! If I can find those old photos and transfer them to digital, I’ll send them along.

Now, my New Year’s wish is that Lava Man will finally get to come to Old Friends as was supposed to happen earlier.

Oh how funny, since I saw Gulch this afternoon and he was COVERED in mud, head to tail! Some things never change…
